Since Elisha was a little girl she had very strong feelings about her destiny. She knew that one day she would achieve great things if she worked hard and held on tight to every one of her dreams and to never give up on these dreams because then she would live with the regret of never knowing what could have been. Elisha’s drive, focus and strong faith has kept her fire ablaze in the most difficult and challenging of times.

In 1991 when Elisha was 21 her good friend Dominique came to her apartment in Brooklyn and brought with her a large, hardcover book. Elisha remembers sitting outside and opening the book and inside were the most beautiful pictures of fresh herbs, flowers, homemade tonics in beautiful antique bottles and all kinds of skin care elixirs, lotions and potions as well as recipes for handmade skin care and what happened next is exactly what you hear from others when they talk about that life changing moment in their life. After thumbing through that book, everything Elisha ate, breathed, thought about, dreamed about and focused on was making organic skin care and how one day she would have her own line of organic products and open her own spa.

Elique is the name Elisha created which is a combination of her name and Dominique's. Elique is Elisha’s everyday journey that she experiences as a direct result of her faith, self-confidence and passion and love for what she does. Elique is Elisha; True, Uncompromised, Purposeful and Simply Elegant.
